This artwork explores the idea of infinite expansion. A white light radiating infinite colors of unconditional love and creativity."Yahior," Hebrew for "Let there be light," is the word used to symbolize the big bang, the creation of the universe. Upon completing the artwork, it ultimately inspired the adoption of "Yahior" as the artist's pseudonym. A word that aligns with the artist's mission, which is to inspire, to expand, to love and to heal.

Hi, I am Yahior from Trás-os-Montes, Portugal and I create abstract art with museum grade colored pencils.Since the first fully light-fast colored pencils were only recently invented (Caran D'ache in 2010, Derwent in 2018), this medium is rapidly making an entrance into the modern art world. With this completely new approach to modern art, I am an avant-garde artist, using this medium combined with my abstract motifs to challenge established norms and push the boundaries of creativity.My work is deeply inspired by the color intensity of Van Gogh and the serene tranquility of Claude Monet. My goal is to create artworks that have never been done before in this medium, pushing the boundaries of what colored pencils can achieve. My artworks are very colorful, often incorporating hundreds of colored pencils in their pure, vibrant hues, all within a single drawing.Although all my drawings are abstract, there is a profound meaning behind the abstraction. The meaning is not singular; rather, each artwork is created with multiple layers of meaning in mind. While most people can perceive some of these layers, the full meaning behind each drawing is something far deeper and more complex than what can be easily discerned. My intention is to invite viewers into a journey of discovery, where the interpretation evolves and expands over time, revealing nuances that are both personal and universal.While I embrace the name Yahior, I choose to keep my face and real name unknown, preferring to remain anonymous and live a simple and humble life.

I will recreate the artworks that have already been completed and exhibited on the home page. Each artwork will be recreated only once for this size.Once a specific drawing for this size has been commissioned, I will not accept further commissions for that particular artwork.Some of the older drawings were created with pencils that fade faster than the superior pencils that I'm using now. For this recreation, I will only use the highest-quality pencils available to ensure a lifetime of at least 200 years when using the right conservation methods.As a result, the final artwork will not be an exact replica of the original due to variations in colors, pencil brands, and size. However, the overall composition will remain unchanged, with a focus on maintaining color fidelity to the original.The time required to complete this artwork is variable due to the unique nature of each piece. The duration can range from a few months to more than two years, making it difficult to estimate a deadline for this tier. My approach differs from the contemporary model, in which an artist submits their artwork to a gallery or museum with the objective of selling it after it's been exhibited.I sell the artwork directly to the gallery or museum at a fixed, discounted price of 50%. Since the artwork is sold, galleries and museums have the power to set the artwork's price at their discretion, in which they will receive 100% of the profits, allowing them to sell it for a modest profit or to increase the price substantially in line with market demands.Art dealers such as Theo Van Gogh employed this strategy, purchasing artworks created by Monet and Degas in advance. This enabled him to provide direct support to the artists, while also allowing for greater flexibility in setting prices.Galleries and museums interested in displaying or selling my works are eligible for an exclusive 50% discount with shipping already included. A: Yes, since processing and shipping takes at least a full month anyway, everything will be ready to be shipped after the third payment is confirmed. This also allows you to spread out your payments rather than having to pay it all at once.Q: Why did you choose Patreon as the payment method?
A: Patreon allows me to remain anonymous, which is the most important aspect of my career. Although the profit margin is about 50% for originals and prints (the same percentage that galleries usually take), Patreon ensures increased payment security for both sellers and buyers. Patreon takes seven days to confirm that payments are legitimate. If they are not legitimate, neither the seller nor the buyer will be harmed.
